FUDCon 2k7 - Boston, MA

Thanks to RedHat for springing for my airfare and hotel to go hang out in Boston, MA for a weekend with a whole bunch of other Fedora hackers. I think they got their money's worth after I managed to find and reclaim 36 wasted megabytes in Fedora's 700MB LiveCD.

Congo

In 2003, literally as the Iraq war was starting, I was gaining a little worldly exposure myself as Keyhole sent me and ARR to Kinshasa and Kisangani in the D.R.Congo. We were there to deploy Keyhole software for the U.N. peacekeeping mission. I must say, that my trip to the 'heart of darkness', coinciding with dark ages of the "Patriot" Act, was the epoch of my life.
